Sunderland Symphony Orchestra

Play with us

Sunderland Symphony Orchestra welcomes enquiries from orchestral players who would like to join us.

Players are normally around Grade 5 standard or above. We often have space for strings; vacancies in woodwind and brass vary, and for some sections we may keep a list of interested players until a place becomes available.

We rehearse normally on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm at Roker Methodist Church, Sunderland.

Please don’t simply turn up to a rehearsal. Email hello@sunderlandso.org.uk and we can talk about your instrument, experience and current vacancies, then arrange for you to come and have a play with us.
